A collection of worksheets that are focused on various topics where we probably won't have enough to warrant a dedicated page.
We tend to see a lot of plays throughout the year and a few we saw last year gave us a chance to talk about a few tools of drama. So I created the dramatic devices worksheet for that purpose. We saw both Jason and the Argonauts and Peter Pan around the same time, so that allowed us to compare the plays and some of the things they did in them. Below is some information about the topics:
| soliloquy | If an actor speaks to himself, while only the audience can hear, it is called soliloquy. |
| aside | If an actor speaks directly to the audience it is called an aside. |
| fourth wall | The fourth wall is the imaginary "wall" at the front of the stage. |
