The Arctic Tundra Lapbook is a simple homeschool science lapbook to reinforce a lesson on arctic tundra animal
and plant adaptations. Since it is simple, it is a very fast lapbook to complete. While the presentation
is lacking, it covers the main points well.
We used white felt for snow and two shades of brown foam for the summer tundra ground. The dark layer
represented the permafrost. Just add some pictures and words and it is ready for the main content. The words
were made in photoshop and the pictures came from Google Images (see sidebar resources). We added some
tundra facts here and there. You could also add a little globe and have them circle or color in the Arctic
circle.
See the side bar for resource and downloads.
